Yasir Shah and Babar Azam’s Brilliant Performance


In the 2nd test match of Pakistan tour to Australia 2019,  Yasir Shah and Babar Azam’s Brilliance Could not save Pakistan from Follow-on. Australia declared their innings on 589-3 courtesy David Warner who scored his first triple century and became the 3rd highest run-scorer in an innings of a test match for Australia. He remained not out on 335*.

In reply, Pakistan started their innings and started to lose wickets right from the start as usual. At the end of the 2nd day of the test match, Pakistan was 96-6. Right then, Yasir Shah came out to bat with Babar Azam and he scored 113. This was his first century in international cricket and his highest individual score.

Pakistan could manage only to score 302 and forced followed on by Australia. Again, it was the worst performance by Pakistan top order and middle order batting line up.’

Babar Azam just missed his another century by only 3 runs and fell prey to the nervous 90s. He scored 97. This was the 8th time that Babar Azam could not complete his century in the 90s. Below are the stats for Unlucky Babar Azam.
